Janet Burgan to perform at Barryville Farmers’ Market
Barryville, NY- Janet Burgan will perform at Barryville Farmers’ Market on July 2nd at noon. Ms. Burgan is a singer/songwriter based in northeastern Pennsylvania. She is an independent recording artist and producer. Burgan sings about farming, strip mining, fracking and love, not necessarily in that order. She has performed at farmers' markets in Sullivan County, including the Harvest Festival at BethelWoods, since 2001.
"I love singing at the markets," said Burgan. "It's a chance for me to express my gratitude to the local farming community and to try to get new people out to the markets."
