The Great Sullivan County Foodraiser Is Back!
The Great Sullivan County Foodraiser Is Back!
The Great Sullivan County Foodraiser is back and better than ever! Too large for any one venue, on February 4, Stacy and Friends and Community Unity will present live music at six locations—Mr. Willy’s Restaurant, The Dancing Cat Saloon, The Dancing Cat Distillery, Dutch’s Tavern, Bum & Kells and the Woodsong Café at the Hurleyville Museum. Six times the bands! Six times the fun! You cannot miss this!
Everyone is invited to come down and play music or just hang with the crowd. Starting at 6PM Mr. Willy’s will have Yasgur, The SJP Band, Somerville, Peter Florance and The New Kings and Dennis Newburg. Starting at 3PM, The Dancing Cat will have music in both the saloon and the Distillery, featuring Stacy and Friends, Barry Scheinfeld Band, Third Degree, Lot 14, Small Town Sheiks, Drew Kelly, Raddyos, Jason Rosen Band, Yasgur and Peter Florance and the New Kings. The Dancing Cat will continue the FoodRaiser on Sunday at 1PM with Little Sparrow, Albi Beluli, Mike Baglione and Anne Loeb, Mike Jung, Antoine Magliano and Steve Schwarz, and Dan Brother! All other locations will begin at 6PM on Saturday night.
There is no cover charge, but Community Unity will be raising funds to support the 21 food pantries of Sullivan County. Over the past three years the FoodRaiser has brought in more than $37,000.
To make your evening even easier, Yellow Cab Company will be providing shuttles traveling between all of the venues all night long. All hail the designated driver! For more info, call Steve White at 583-4808 or Claire Sullivan at 557-3642 or check out dancingcatsaloon.com.
